José H. Dulá was a student at the Gávea EA from the day the new school opened in 1971 through his graduation in 1976. You can contact José at JDula@vcu.edu, or visit his Personal Web Page. He'd love to hear from old friends and classmates.
 In the second semester of the 1973-'74 school year Mrs. Stanton produced the musical CARNIVAL and she asked José to be the official photographer. CARNIVAL rehearsal photos and candid snapshots taken of his fellow classmates in 1972 and 1973 comprise this unique collection. A grand tip of the hat to José for making this classic trove available for our viewing pleasure.
